Built during the Pandya and Jaffna dynasties with grand additions by the Setupatis of Ramanathapuram, this majestic shrine houses the world's longest pillared corridor measuring over 1,212 granite pillars. The sanctum preserves the Shiva Lingam installed by Lord Rama and Mother Sita.

Destroyed in the catastrophic 1964 cyclone, Dhanushkodi stands as an evocative 'Ghost Town' surrounded by the azure waters of the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. The newly paved national highway leads straight to Arichal Munai, where both oceans meet with distinctly different wave patterns.

A monumental engineering wonder spanning over 2.06 kilometers. The historic Scherzer rolling lift cantilever rail bridge and the modern vertical-lift railway bridge run parallel to the 2.3-kilometer Annai Indira Gandhi Road Bridge, offering breathtaking aerial panoramas of fishing vessels and coral seas.

A two-storeyed shrine positioned on a sandhill. Inside the sanctum, a stone slab preserves the imprint of Lord Rama's feet (Charan Paduka) where He stood to survey Lanka before constructing the bridge. The terrace affords a 360-degree panorama of the entire coconut-fringed island and deep blue ocean.

Located 2 km from Ramanathaswamy Temple, this shrine is famous for housing ancient porous stones that float on water, believed to be the genuine coral stones used by the Vanara army to construct Rama Setu.

The calm seashore located directly facing the East Gopuram of the Ramanathaswamy Temple. Pilgrims perform ancestral rituals (Thila Tharpanam, Pinda Daanam) and take their preliminary sea bath here before entering the temple for the 22 well theerthams.

Situated 7 km before Rameshwaram near Thangachimadam, this miracle well produces pure, sweet drinking water despite being located right inside the salty ocean waters.

A 500-year-old temple situated on the sandy spit leading to Dhanushkodi, surrounded entirely by the sea during high tides. It was the only historical structure to survive the devastating 1964 cyclone completely intact.
